A short escape, kids, a swim on a small south swell
- This is the twenty-minute beach. Use it as such. Do not wait for a perfect day.
- The cove is more protected than County Line. On big west days it still closes out — look before you paddle.
- The campground inland is a different trip. The cove is the hour you had.
How to arrive · PCH at Sycamore Canyon. Day-use lot. If it is full, the walk from the canyon mouth is part of the practice.
