Best for
Tidepooling, families, a long walk at minus tide
- Go on a falling tide under +1.5 ft. The caves and the reef north of the creek are the point of the trip.
- Turn rocks back over. Leave stars where they are. The intertidal here is heavily loved and easily damaged.
- Fog is common in the morning. That is not bad weather. That is the marine layer doing its job.
How to arrive · PCH just west of the county line. State park lot, or the shoulder if you are only staying an hour.
